Clown was a heavy rock wrecking ball out of Moorhead, Minnesota (Fargo, ND’s twin city), that left its mark on the Midwest in the early/mid 1970s. Led by the untamed force of nature, Billy Gramer—better known as Alexis T. Angel (later of the band Ozz)—the band didn’t just play gigs; they unleashed them. With Gramer’s fearless vocals and a stage presence that defied restraint, Clown was a band that demanded your attention!

The group toured the Midwest relentlessly, earning a reputation for shows that were unpredictable and unforgettable. Gramer and his bandmates lived and breathed rock and roll, pouring every ounce of sweat and soul into their performances.
